Insert, Box, Image from File

Purpose

Use Insert Images to insert an image into your document. The image will be loaded from an image file in one of the following formats: Windows Bitmap (BMP), JPEG (JPG), Windows Metafile (WMF), Enhanced Metafile (EMF), Portable Network Graphics (PNG), Encapsulated Postscript (EPS) or TIFF. The image will be contained in a box.

After inserting an image, you may apply additional options to your image by using the Format Box dialog. For example, you may specify, if the image data will be embedded into or linked to your EW document.

Steps

  1. Choose Box from the Insert menu, then choose Image From File.
  2. The Open File dialog appears. Choose a folder you want to list the image files in and select the image file you want.
  3. Choose Open.
  4. Choose Format Box to position and size the image. In addition you can set borders, margins and wrap style using this command.

    Drag the borders or size handles to position and size the box.
